When to use it
Categories where trust is the barrier to purchase and you have real documentation to show. Skip it entirely if you do not.
Setting it up
Add the section and write the heading and intro under Content.
Set your provenance wording under Record labels and badges. There are separate labels for supplied and not-supplied states — use both honestly.
Add one Proof record block per document, with its title, date, and status.
Attach media under Media if you have a document image or scan to show.
A certifications record can pull straight from the product: set Value source on that block. Documents, dates, and methods stay manual. See Per-product content.
Where the content comes from
Blocks own the records. Nothing here is derived from Shopify product data, because Shopify has no native field for a test report.
Notes and cautions
Label internal testing as internal. Presenting in-house results as independent verification is the kind of thing that costs a brand its credibility permanently, and it is the sort of claim regulators read closely.
A ledger with three real documents beats one with ten vague ones.
